I was born and raised in tornado alley. For my thirteenth birthday I saw Robocop 3 with some friends, which wasn’t the highlight, but I did get the camera I asked for. With my postcard collection as inspiration, I began my life as a photographer. I have a degree in journalism from the University of Kansas, and a degree in photography from The School of Visual Arts. I like flying.
